Love is everything

This text is going to be different. It's going to be lame and at the same time awesome.
From all this fancy stuff that we read every day we forget, the basic thing in our life is the love we share with whoever crosses our path.

There are 2 things this week that struck me right in the heart and made me realize the reason we do anything, create anything or behave in a certain way is just LOVE. We are either chasing it or running away so we don’t have to face loss. Whatever we do, has to do with love.

In the last 8 months, we hosted over 100 complete strangers in our home and never for a second felt like they were any different than us. We were trying to take care of them, make them comfortable, learning more about their lives and their plans. With some, we spent fun moments together or shared conversations like with old friends. We connected and reflected through EMOTION of basic love. These were people of different cultures, languages, continents, age, race, religion, education...Single, couples, parents with kids. They were all similar in the sense they all reacted the same to KINDNESS.

Some were shy, some were sociable, some spoke very little, some were open and chatty, introverts and extroverts...They left gifts, food or just incredibly written thank you notes. They were our guests, some only for a night, some for a couple of days...
The other thing was...the Lego Batman movie. I promised this was going to be a different text.

It's not the usual meditate every day, be humble, grab a cold f.... shower. These are all techniques. But guess what are these techniques here to do?
They are here so you can love and be kind again. So you can do that every day, from the moment you get up to the moment you close your eyes to sleep. From the person whose feet you are trying to reach in the middle of the night, to the stranger who uses your toilet.

You don't need to meditate, BE KIND.
You don't need a cold shower, YOU NEED TO CARE.
You don't want the next life hack, YOU WANT LOVE.

I know, all this from a Lego movie, really? :) I guess I need to switch from yoga to zen.

If you could only choose love in all your decisions, you wouldn't need to remind yourself to breathe.

If you knew how to let go of fear running your life, you would not be hesitating to CONNECT.

If we all just boldly embrace love even with the fear, Joker would become our best buddy.

This is all we ever need. This is all we are. God, Universe, The Consciousness, Brahman, Krisna, Jesus, Alah, Jahve, Love. Amen.
